Law Enforcement Memorial Day

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota’s fallen law enforcement officers are being remembered.

A ceremony marking North Dakota Peace Officer Memorial Day is slated Friday afternoon May 13, on the state Capitol grounds in Bismarck.

The ceremony is held each year during National Police Week.

North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem says 62 North Dakota officers have been killed in the line of duty.
