dickeycountyhighway3(CSi)  Construction will start on Dickey County Highway Number Three  concerning  widening and resurfacing, the major East-West artery that runs through Dickey County.

County Emergency Manager Charlie Russell says, the contractors will make every attempt to keep this road open to at least one lane through the construction process.

The work is expected continue through July.

He says, as with any road construction, delays short time stoppages and rough road will be the norm.

Russell encourages those that travel the route are asked to start planning alternative routes for the summer while construction continues on the road.
