(CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a Litchville man was injured when he lost control of the propane truck he was driving three miles south of Marion around noon on Friday.
63 year old Robert Larson,, was driving a Kenworth loaded with 2,800 gallons of propane north on LaMoure County Road 61 at about 12:02 p.m. when the right wheels of the truck left the edge of the road. Larson attempted to steer the vehicle back onto the road, and overcorrected, and the vehicle crossed the road, went out of control into the west ditch and rolled.
The truck came to rest in a farm field on its wheels. No propane leaked from the vehicle which had an estimated $75,000 in damages.
Larson, was not wearing a seat belt, and was injured and was transported by LaMoure Ambulance to Oakes Hospital, where he was treated and released.
The accident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
