Nome (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, a male was not injured, when the vehicle he was driving went into a slough about three miles east of Nome, in Barnes County, Monday morning.  The patrol says alcohol was a factor in the crash which remains under investigation.

DUI and DUS charges are pending against the man.
