Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown voters on Tuesday, June 14, 2016,  elected three city council candidates, and four Jamestown Public School District board members in contested races, for four year terms.

In the City Council races, five candidates were running for election.

Jamestown voters Re-elected Steve Brubakken, and Dan Buchanan, and elected Pam Phillips

Jamestown Public School District voters elected three city seats and one rural seat.

Winning the three city seats were: Roger Haut, re-elected, Diane Hanson re-elected, and elected was Jennifer (Schlosser) Schmidt

Stutsman County Voters defeated County Measure Number One, turning down the opportunity to have the Stutsman County State’s Attorney position becoming appointed instead of an elected office.
