Ave Maria Village 2nd Annual Fun Walk Aug 6

Jamestown (CSi) Ave Maria Village in Jamestown invites the community to the Second Annual Fun Walk on Saturday, August 6, 2016, starting at 9:00 A.M. at Ave Maria Village.

On Wednesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2 Ave Maria volunteer, Lisa Wagner said Ave Maria is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of the residents and those in the community.

Early Bird Special: $15.00/person if paid by July 29th; $20.00 thereafter or on day of event.

Ave Maria Residents are FREE! Children 12 and under are FREE!

Adults 65 and older just $10.00 if registered by the Early Bird deadline!

Course: there will be a one mile loop marked out on the north side of Ave Maria Village. Walk the loop 1 – 3 times depending on your fitness level. Please check in by 8:45 A.M. so we can start the walk promptly at 9:00 A.M. Drawings at 10 A.M.

Lisa said area business of donated prizes for drawings including Gifts From the Heart, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Legacy Fitness and Yoga.

All proceeds will benefit Ave Maria’s Private Room Campaign – Phase 1*

The project, will be adding about 24 private rooms with in-room shower facilities.

It includes converting double rooms to single rooms, with then, 76 private rooms, with the cost estimated between $3 million and $4 million.

Other plans include more food choices, more flexible menus, and different menu items, and enlarging the current dining space, in a restaurant-like dining environment.

Other plans include a new phone system and installing new wall coverings.

Recently the campaign to construct the new chapel, and the McCoy Family hospice suite was completed.
