Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown City Fire Department responded to a grass fire Monday evening about 5:50 in the I-94 median between mile markers 260-261, near Exit 260.
The area was near where road construction is taking place.
Lt. Sheldon Mohr says the fire burned about 30 square feet of grass.
Traffic was allowed to continue while the fire was brought under control, in about 15 to 20 minutes.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Three City Fire Department units and seven fire fighters were on the scene.
