* FLOOD WARNING FOR…

DICKEY COUNTY

* UNTIL 100 PM TUESDAY

* AS OF EARLY TUESDAY MORNING…THE THREAT OF RAIN HAS ENDED ACROSS DICKEY COUNTY. HOWEVER…FOUR TO FIVE INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN BETWEEN FORBES AND OAKES SINCE SUNDAY EVENING. COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS HAVE REPORTED FLOODING IN DICKEY COUNTY. EVEN THOUGH NO ADDITIONAL RAIN IS EXPECTED…FLOODING WILL CONTINUE DUE TO THE EARLIER RAINFALL.

 

Ellendale (CSi)   Dickey County Emergency Manager Charlie Russell is asking residents to report storm related damages to local Emergency Manager’s Offices.

Report any impassable roads to the Highway Department at 701-349-3326, or in Dickey County to Russell at 701-320-6299.

Russell says, 4.5 inches of rain was reported from Sunday night’s storms, leading to roads and ditches having the potential to be washed out. He reminds travelers and motorists in the area to use caution and avoid traveling on water-covered roadways.

If you have damage to report, contact your local Emergency Manager with storm damage pictures. Also, report impassable roads to the Highway Department. Contact Russell at 701-320-6299 or the Highway Department at 701-349-3326.
