Cease & Desist order issued, Jmst business

Bismarck (CSi) North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem has issued a Cease and Desist Order Monday, banning Froggiez Painting & More in Jamestown from doing business.

Investigators determined that Jeremiah Bjerke, who is not a licensed contractor, took an advance payment of $6,000 to install a steel roof on a house and granary, but did not do any work on the project or issue a refund to the homeowner.

Bjerke ignored the investigator’s efforts to contact him and also ignored a formal demand for information from the Attorney General’s office.
