COZI TV, broadcast by Fargo TV station KRDK, will also air on CSi Cable channel 8 in SD starting September 12. COZI brings viewers America’s most beloved and iconic television series, hit movies and original programming with well-known shows like Magnum, P.I., The Bionic Woman, Highway to Heaven, The Lone Ranger and The Six Million Dollar Man.

What is happening to CW?

For the past years, The CW network has been broadcast in our area through Fargo TV station WDAY, on 6.2DT. Recently we were informed by WDAY, that as of Sept 12, WDAY would no longer be broadcasting the CW, and they do not yet have a new replacement for the programming. Their immediate plans are to air a 9pm newscast on WDAY XTRA, CSi 7.

Did I hear that CW may be broadcast in Fargo?

WDAY TV lost the rights to broadcast CW to Gray Television, the owners of KVLY. Gray TV is constructing new low power TV transmitters to serve Fargo & Grand Forks area only. Those transmitters are not completed yet, and they are not expected to reach our area.

At this time Gray TV has no plans to broadcast the signal much past the Fargo/Grand Forks area. The switch from high power broadcast station WDAY to a low power transmitter operated by Gray TV will significantly reduce the broadcast viewing area.
