Street work in VC starting Aug 24

Valley City  (CSi)  KLJ reports that  a paving project will be starting with  the milling and overlay portion of the project on Wednesday August 24^, 2016. The work will include milling the streets and overlaying hot bituminous pavement over the milled surface.

The affected streets are as follows:

2^nd Avenue NE from 2^nd Street NE to 4^th Street NE – Closed to traffic on August 24^th and 25^th.

6^th Street NE from Central Avenue to 8^th Ave NE – Partially open to traffic on August 24^th thru August 27^th.

KLJ requests that vehicles be parked off the street in those areas so the contractor will be able to complete their work.
