Monroe Crossing at VCSU Sept 9

Valley City  (CSi)  The Valley City State University Department of Music and the Viking Campus Activities Board will present Monroe Crossing Bluegrass & Gospel Show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 9, in the VCSU Vangstad Auditorium. Admission is free with a VCSU ID card; admission for others is $10 at the door.

The band is renowned both for its dynamic stage show and for the warmth it shares on and off stage, interacting with the audience and always honoring requests after the intermission.

Monroe Crossing is the only bluegrass band ever inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame (2007), and has been invited twice (2007 and 2014) by the International Bluegrass Music Association as an Official Showcase Artist at the IBMA World of Bluegrass convention.
