Jamestown (CSi) Alfred Dickey Public Library plans to closed for three to four days in October.
On Tuesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Development Director, Bill Kennedy said the library plans to replace light fixtures in the main area of the adult library.
The dates will be announced.
He also pointed out that the James River Valley Library System is offering at the Alfred Dickey Public Library, adult programing on topics such as Fall Gardening, Fall Birding, Wills and Estate Planning, a Writing Development Workshop Long Term Care Planning, Funeral Options and Genealogy.

On our show, Bill also pointed out that the new bookmobile is likely to be delivered in October this year, with the final interior layout be planned with input from Library Director, Joe Rector.
He’s also looking for public input in the form of stories, that tell the importance of the library over the years in the lives of members of the community.
