TroskeDavid3BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A man accused of fatally shooting another man and wounding a woman at a wedding dance in New Rockford a year ago has settled two civil lawsuits against him and is scheduled to change his not guilty pleas in his criminal case.

Fifty-two-year-old David Troske faces murder and other charges in the Sept. 6, 2015, fatal shooting of Donald Perleberg, of Pingree, and the wounding of Mary Seiler, of New Rockford.

Court documents show he’s scheduled to change his pleas Sept. 28. He had been scheduled for trial later this month.

Court documents also indicate that settlements were reached earlier this year in civil lawsuits filed by Seiler and Perleberg’s family, seeking money damages.
