COOPERSTOWN, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified a Finley man who died in a one-vehicle crash in Griggs County.

The Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Alan Goyne lost control of his Corvette on a curve on state Highway 200, and the car went in the ditch and rolled.

He died at the scene east of Cooperstown about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A 28-year-old Cooperstown woman identified as 28 year old  Tenisha Dean  who was riding in the car was flown to a Fargo hospital with undisclosed injuries. Her condition wasn’t known.

CSi   The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a man died in a one vehicle rollover, about 7:30-p.m., Tuesday eastbound on Highway 200 near mile marker 345, west of the Sheyenne River Valley.

The report says a female passenger was injured.

The 1979 Corvette failed to negotiate a curve, driving onto the south shoulder.

The driver over corrected and the vehicle traveled across the highway, entering the north ditch and rolled, coming to rest of its top.

The driver died at the scene, the passenger was airlifted to Sanford in Fargo.

The occupants were not wearing seat belts.

No other information was being released at this time.

Assisting the NDHP at the scene were, the Griggs County Sheriff’s Office and Cooperstown Fire and Rescue, and Cooperstown Ambulance.
