Bismarck  (CSi)  The National Weather Service reports that Friday and Friday night, widespread showers and scattered thunderstorm are forecast across western and then central North Dakota.

Some storms may be severe across southwest North Dakota this evening, with large hail and damaging wind.

Late Friday morning the Bismarck-Mandan area was receiving   a thunderstorm with strong wind and half inch hail.

That system was moving northeast.
