Jamestown (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol Reports, a semi rollover at 1:10-a.m., Saturday injured a 16 year old Jamestown male.
The report says the 2001 Peterbilt pulling a hopper bottom trailer, was northbound on Stutsman County Road 65 nine miles west of Jamestown operated by Wyatt Briss of Jamestown.
He slowed to turn east. While maneuvering the turn, the trailer tires drove off the north edge of the road. The trailer loaded with soybeans shifted toward the north ditch. The truck and trailer rolled onto its side causing loss of the load.
The passenger, 16 year old Lukas Rosenau of Jamestown was injured.
Rosenau was transported by Jamestown Area Ambulance Service to JRMC from the scene.
He was later transferred to a Fargo hospital.
Neither male was using safety restrains.
Briss was issued citations for care required and operating a vehicle outside of that allowed by license.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
