FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota’s candidates for governor are facing off in the last of three scheduled debates.

Republican Doug Burgum, Democrat Marvin Nelson and Libertarian Marty Riske are set to participate in the half-hour event sponsored by Prairie Public Television  (CSi Cable 13.)

Doug Burgum

Burgum is a former Microsoft executive from Fargo who defeated Wayne Stenehjem in the GOP primary.

Marvin Nelson

Nelson is an agriculture consultant who serves as a state representative from Rolla.

Riske is a Fargo businessman and entrepreneur.

Republicans have held the governor’s office in North Dakota since 1992.

The debate will be recorded Monday afternoon at the Prairie Public TV studios in Fargo and aired Wednesday at 8 p.m.
