Participation in National Bullying Prevention Month

Jamestown  (CSi)  Jamestown Public School District is participating in  National Bullying Prevention and Awareness Month.

Information,  activities and programs are going on  this month.

School superintendent Rob Lech points out that  bullying deserves attention all school year, adding that a school culture is also a key in operating  consistant bullying prevention programs.

Jamestown elementary school have anti bullying programs in place.

Jamestown High School will hold a mix-it-up lunch day with an anti-bullying theme on Oct. 25. Ninth-grade homerooms have inmplemented  “All About Bullying – What You Need to Know” curriculum that addresses bullying and cyberbullying.
