mhrobberDetective Nick Hardy says the man had a peculiar walk and hunched shoulders.  He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shoes, a mask, sunglasses and gloves, with jeans having  a tear above the right knee.

Jamestown Police Continue with the investigation into the early Saturday morning robbery of the  M&H Gas Station in downtown Jamestown.

The suspect is still being sought.

Anyone in the area that might have seen anyone walking in the area around that time are asked to contact the Jamestown Police, at 701-252-1000, or 701-252-2414.  The Stutsman County Sheriff”s Office is assisting in the investigation.

 

mhrobbery1On Saturday morning, Jamestown Police Lt. Justin Blinsky stated to CSiNewsNow reporter Thomas Ravely that at approximately 4:38AM today (Sat),  the Police Department was contacted by a female employee of M&H Gas Station, located at 325 1st Ave S in Jamestown.

She reported that a male had come to the store as she was preparing the store to open at 5am.  He approached her as she was outside doing some of her job duties.

He displayed a weapon and ordered her back inside the store.

Once in the store, he demanded the cash from within the store.  He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

Blinsky added that he employee did not suffer serious injuries but was emotionally  shaken by the robbery.

The robber has been described as a male,  5’10” to 6′ tall,  heavy, with a stocky build, and in further updates as between 20 and 40 years old.
