Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Fire Department was called out about 8:10 a.m., Monday for an extrication involving a one vehicle rollover, on I-94 at mile marker 266.
Information from the scene from CSi Photographer, Tom Ravely indicates the male driver of the vehicle was westbound and the vehicle rolled into the median.
The fire department cut the top off the vehicle and extricated the man, who was taken by Jamestown Area Ambulance Service to Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
The man was conscious when he was taken from the scene.
City Fire Chief Jim Reuther says 10 fire fighters and two units were on the scene about a half hour.
More information when the accident report is filed.
Jamestown (CSi) 722 individuals, Sunday, enjoyed a free turkey dinner with all the trimmings…a record… at the 13th annual Community Christmas Dinner at Victory Lutheran Church in Jamestown.
Event Coordinator, Kris Meidinger, says of the 722 total served, 431 people attended at the church, while 10 volunteer drivers made 233 home deliveries. Fifty-eight more mostly from nearby hotels picked up a dinner to go.
Last year, 589 meals were served with 360 meals at the church and 229 delivered meals.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota’s presidential electors will gather to cast their votes, today, and they say there’s no question about their support for Donald Trump.
Some Trump opponents have responded to his victory with a move to persuade Electoral College voters to break with the results in their state.
That apparently won’t happen in North Dakota, where Trump was an easy winner over Hillary Clinton. One of the state’s three electors, Bev Clayburgh, says Trump’s margin was large enough that she shouldn’t even consider not backing him.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A March 16 sentencing date has been set for a Minot man convicted of killing his ex-wife a year ago by stabbing her 44 times in the neck, face and chest.
Jurors deliberated for only about an hour before finding 30-year-old Richie Wilder Jr. guilty of murder in the November 2015 death of 30-year-old Angila Wilder. The verdict came Friday, after a weeklong trial.
Richie Wilder had maintained that he had been framed. He could face life in prison.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A massive oil spill in northwestern North Dakota still isn’t fully cleaned up three years and three months after it happened.
The company responsible hasn’t even set a date for completion.
Crews have been working around the clock to deal with the Tesoro Corp. pipeline break, which happened in a wheat field in September 2013.
But North Dakota Health Department environmental scientist Bill Suess said that less than a third of the 840,000 gallons that spilled has been recovered — or ever will be.
Some say that one of the largest onshore oil spills recorded in the U.S. serves as a cautionary example, especially given a recent pipeline break about 150 miles south and ongoing debates over the four-state Dakota Access pipeline.
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Ward County is planning to get a locksmith’s advice in improving the security of its new administrative building.
Security issues include a lack of controlled access to Social Services and building access during hours when many offices are closed. Commissioner Alan Walter says the building design has led to a “screwed up” system.
Another security concern involves the Ward County Library entrance at the administrative building. During the evening and on Saturdays, the public can access other parts of the building because it doesn’t have a separate entrance.
The county’s efforts to secure the building are complicated by the necessity to ensure staff still has access when working after hours. For now, the commission decided to leave the situation as it is.
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — The struggle to recruit attorneys to rural areas hasn’t let up despite several Plains states’ efforts.
That’s particularly true in states such as Nebraska with vast stretches of sparsely populated land.
But the state has launched a program that targets rural high schools students, hoping to persuade them to return to their rural roots to practice law.
The Rural Law Opportunities Program offers high-achieving high school students full-tuition undergraduate scholarships to three rural Nebraska colleges. Those who maintain a 3.5 GPA and get a minimum LSAT score are automatically accepted to the University of Nebraska College of Law.
Program organizer Thomas Maul hopes the rate of return will be as high as the 60 percent reported by a similar program to get doctors into small towns.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota’s state agriculture and wildlife agencies have launched the fifth year of a program that connects hunters and trappers with landowners who are dealing with coyotes.
Last year nearly 40 landowners and about 200 hunters and trappers took advantage of the Coyote Catalog program.
The program was activated this week and will continue operating through next March.

Robert Turbin rushed for two touchdowns, Mike Adams forced a fumble and added an interception for the Colts (7-7).
Frank Gore rushed for 101 yards and Indianapolis won on the road for the fourth time this season, dominating a Vikings defense that is among the best in the league.
Adrian Peterson had just 22 yards on six carries and lost a fumble in his first game back from a knee injury for the Vikings (7-7).
CHICAGO (AP) — Aaron Rodgers hit Jordy Nelson with a 60-yard pass to set up Mason Crosby’s 32-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Green Bay Packers to a 30-27 victory over the Bears in one of the coldest games ever played in Chicago on Sunday afternoon.
Wide receiver-turned-running back Ty Montgomery ran for a career-high 162 yards and two touchdowns, and the Packers (8-6) earned their fourth straight victory despite blowing a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter.
They also moved ahead of Minnesota for sole possession of second place in the NFC North and pulled within a game of division leader Detroit, with the Vikings getting pounded by Indianapolis and the Lions losing to the New York Giants.
DENVER (AP) — The New England Patriots will enjoy another year in which they have earned a first-round bye in the upcoming NFL playoffs. The Pats clinched their seventh straight bye by beating the defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos 16-3 at Mile High yesterday.

UNDATED (AP) — Nigel Williams-Goss scored 20 points and No. 8 Gonzaga remained undefeated by holding off Tennessee 86-76. The 11-0 ‘Zags hadn’t played since Dec. 10. But they looked strong as the Bulldogs scored the first eight points and never trailed.
In Sunday’s only other game involving a team ranked in the AP Top-25, Johnathan Motley had 20 points and nine rebounds in No. 4 Baylor’s 107-53 victory over overmatched NAIA school John Brown. The Bears 11-0.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota head coach Tracy Claeys says he knew he was risking his job last week when he expressed support for players who boycotted practices and threatened to skip a bowl game if 10 teammates who were suspended after a sexual assault investigation weren’t reinstated.
Claeys also said in an interview on WCCO Radio on Sunday he plans to donate $50,000 to support victims of sexual assault.
The players backed down Saturday and said they’d play in the Dec. 27 Holiday Bowl against Washington State in San Diego, even though officials declined to reinstate their suspended teammates.
Claeys says his players weren’t condoning sexual assault or harassment, but believed their suspended teammates were denied due process, and that it was “pretty easy” to support them despite the risk to his job.

HOUSTON (AP)— The Jacksonville Jaguars have fired Gus Bradley, ending the least successful coaching tenure in NFL history with a 14-48 record in four seasons, a .225 winning percentage. Owner Shad Khan announced the decision following a 21-20 loss at Houston, a game in which the 2-12 Jaguars blew a nine-point lead in the fourth quarter.

WASHINGTON (AP) — To many, it’s a mere formality; to some, a desperate last chance. Electors are set to gather in every state today to formally elect Donald Trump president even as anti-Trump forces try to deny him the White House. An Associated Press survey of electors finds very little appetite to vote for alternative candidates. A joint session of Congress is scheduled for Jan. 6 to certify the results of the Electoral College vote.
BEIRUT (AP) — Turkey says some 4,500 people have been evacuated from eastern Aleppo since midnight local time, as a fragile cease-fire in Syria resumed. The evacuations were made possible through a cease-fire deal brokered by Russia and Turkey that paved way for rebels and civilians to leave the last opposition-held enclave in the city.
JERUSALEM (AP) — A leading Israeli think tank says its survey has found Israelis are increasingly losing faith in their government and most public institutions. The Israel Democracy Institute says the findings mirror the global trend of dissatisfaction and cynicism that helped propel Britain’s exit from the European Union and the victory of President-elect Donald Trump.
VIENNA (AP) — The U.N. nuclear agency chief says Iran is complying with obligations limiting uranium enrichment. But two diplomats say the agency has warned Tehran that unless it slows the process, it could soon burst through its cap on material that could be used to make a bomb. The warning comes at sensitive time, with the incoming Trump administration saying it could push to renegotiate the pact.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles International Airport says terminal operations are returning to normal following power outages last night. An airport spokeswoman says no flight cancellations were reported, but some flights may have been delayed up to an hour. She says the outages occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Pacific time and affected the central terminal area as well as some areas near the airport.
