Jamestown  (CSi)  The Jamestown City Fire department was called out around 12:30pm Friday for a natural gas leak at 619 5th Street Northeast. Large sheets of ice slid off the rear of the house and clipped the gas meter. Lt. Sheldon Mohr says MDU was called to the scene and disconnected the service line, and was to make repairs to the meter.

No injuries were reported.

He says 27 City fire fighters responded to the all-call at the fire station, and 10 were dispatched to the scene, while the remainder were on standby.

The fire department was on the scene about one hour.
