Update:  Feb 22:  clean-up activity stopped on Weds due to weather conditions, reluctance of protesters to allow crews to enter,  barricades of main entrance, multiple fires, and arrests being made of protesters who failed to leave by 2pm.

previously:  Feb 19, 2017 – According to ND Response.gov, clean up is making progress as heavy equipment and sanitation trucks entered the Oceti Sakowin camp this morning.

A total of 22 truckloads were removed today by 3 p.m. Crews plan to work until darkness.

The deadline to evacuate the protest camp was set as Feb 22 by ND Governor Burgam.
