Madison, SD (PlayNorthStar.com) The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce the 2016-17 Men’s Basketball All-Conference selections and postseason awards. The all-conference and postseason awards were announced at the conclusion of the championship game at Gordon Lozier Center where top-seeded Bellevue (Neb.) cruised to a 74-57 victory over second-seeded Dickinson State Monday evening.
Bellevue, Dickinson State and Jamestown shared the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Men’s Basketball regular-season title with 11-5 record.
B.J. Shelton of Bellevue was selected to Most Valuable Player and Newcomer of the Year awards. Austin Dunbar of Valley City State was chosen as Defensive Player-of-the-Year.
Shane Paben of Bellevue was named as the NSAA Men’s Basketball Coach-of-the-Year.
