Jamestown (CSi) – In the spring of 2009,  snow melt put record levels of water into the Jamestown Reservoir and Pipestem Lake,  as well as across large parts of Stutsman County.

On April 27, 2009, CSi TV 10 photographer Thomas Ravely boarded a North Dakota National Guard helicopter for a tour of the areas north of Jamestown, capturing the exclusive video of the flooding from above.

Join Bob Martin and Roy Sheppard as they narrate the video in part 1 of “Flood of 2009”,  now showing on CSi TV 10 – The Replay Channel.

Coming soon to CSi TV 10 will be “CSi Eye in the Sky – Part 2”,  when 2 CSi videographers flew over the City of Jamestown and areas to the south.

The video below of water lapping at the emergency overflow at Jamestown Reservoir,  two days before it officially start to run into the overflow in 2009.  Video recorded by CSi TV videographer Thomas Ravely.
