Delphine Prodzinski, 88, of Jamestown, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at Eventide, Jamestown.

Delphine Rose Kulas was born March 31, 1929 in Winona, MN to Vincent and Agnes (Stampka) Kulas.

During the summers, Delphine visited her maternal grandmother Stampka in Jamestown. While visiting her, she met Leo Prodzinski of Ashland Township and both attended Sacred Heart Church in Fried, ND. They were married October 9, 1946 in Fried and lived on their farm near there.

When Delphine finally learned (ha ha) how to cook, she got really good at it and was always looking for a new recipe.

She and Leo worked hard on their farm raising cattle, hogs, and grain. Prior to moving to North Dakota, Delphine worked at a cardboard factory as a box cutter. She enjoyed her lawn, mowing and always had a passion for lilacs. Delphine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fried and the Altar Society.

Delphine is survived by her son; Tim (Becky) Prodzinski, of West Fargo, grandson, Kyle (Savannah) Prodzinski, Fargo, ND; daughter; Brenda (Jay) Dempsey, of Jamestown, grandsons, Shawn (Dawn) Erdahl, of Jamestown, Dion (Jodi) Erdahl, of Knoxville, TN, CJ (Carissa) Ulness, of Brainard, MN, daughter-in-law; Gwen Zvirovski, of Fargo; grandsons, Jason (Shawna) Prodzinski, of Pingree, Jeremy (Lori) Prodzinski, of Ada, MN; 12 great grandchildren, Teddy, Ryan, Payton, Brandon, Brandt, Broderick, Kassie, Marckus, Kaitlynn, Zachary, Zane, and Aiden; and special friend, Baxter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; and son, David Prodzinski.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Vigil: 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Interment: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fried, ND.
