Jamestown  (CSi)  County Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist has enlisted County Commission and Chamber to draft letters to send to the ND Public Service Commission concerning the April 21. 2017  Century Link fiber line that was  cut  near West Fargo, disrupting phone service between Jamestown and Fargo.

The service disrupted local and long distance phone services along with  9-1-1 calls.

Bergquist says businesses had concerns from the cut that day.

Agricover’s Joan Morris says, the business estimated tens of thousand of dollars in losses stemming from the four hour service disruption that day.

Other businesses lost the use of credit card machines, for customers that day as well.

The Stutsman County Commission will further discuss the letter at Tuesday’s  4-p.m., meeting.
