Jamestown (CSi) Authorities, Tuesday arrested a Minnesota man who was jailed in Jamestown a few days earlier, on Saturday by the Highway Patrol, in connection with a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
28 year old Justin Hatten of Milica, Minnesota was arrested, Saturday after a vehicle and foot pursuit.
The pickup truck was allegedly stolen from a location in Hope, North Dakota.
He was released from jail in Jamestown Monday, after posting a $250 bond.
Then on Tuesday, Hatten was arrested following being stopped by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office traveling eastbound on I-94 about a mile east of Jamestown, by Stutsman County Sheriff Deputy Brian Davis.
The stop was made after it was learned that a white minivan had been stolen from a residential garage, in Jamestown.
Hatten was was taken into custody without incident.
He is currently being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center.
He faces a charge of theft of property, a Class C felony punishable by five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
