Jamestown Police reports that 24 year old Sawyer Suko now resides at 1101 1st Ave. North, Jamestown, ND.
Jamestown Police is warning Jamestown residents of a convicted sex offender who has changed her address in Jamestown.
The report says Felita Bravebull Bredeson now resides at 1003 5th Avenue, NE Apt 14, Jamestown, ND
She presently has no vehicle.

Jamestown (CSi) The Stutsman County Commission has appointed Deputy Auditor and Recorder Nicole Meland, as the county’s Interim Auditor, until a replacement for Casey Bradley is found and for a smooth transition.
On July 6, 2017 Bradley announced his resignation, and that his final day would be August 4th.
In a memo to County Commission Chairman, Mark Klose and the Stutsman County Commission, Meland outlined a few of the changes, in line with she being the interim auditor, and changes in positions at the courthouse.
County Treasurer Jessica Alonge, will for now, be Deputy Auditor and Recorder.
Current Deputy Recorder Jessica Moser becomes County Treasurer and her current position will remain open at this time.
The interim positions filled mean a cost savings to the county of about $9,869.95.
The changes are to be in place through October, 2017, through the 2018 budgeting.
Jamestown (CSi) The benefit Barn Dance to support the construction of SAFE Shelter’s “Mary’s Place” will be held on Saturday August 5, 2017, from 6-p.m., to 12-a.m.
The dance will be held at Boondocks Barn, located at 7560 46th Street Southeast , about 17 miles south and west of Jamestown.
Optional free transportation to and from Boondocks provided by the Choralaires bus, leaving the Buffalo Mall parking lot.
The first bus leaves at 5:30-p.m., and returns every 90- minutes. The live band will be Old Friends.
The barn provided by Boondocks, food provided by Bank Forward, and there will be a cash bar available.

From 3-p.m., to 6-p.m., Perkins’s Restaurant will donate 15% of their food sales, to support Mary’s Place.
SAFE Shelter Executive Director, Lynne Tally said fundraising efforts are about three-quarters of the way toward the goal, with about $300,000 to $400,000 left to raise.
She pointed out that Mary’s Place will have apartments in a more private setting, for victims of domestic abuse to stay safe, and have peace of mind during their difficulties, and not become homeless.
She said the Mary Newman of Jamestown led the giving of donations, providing a significant boost to get the project “off the ground.”

Steele (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, a heat related heaved roadway led to a traffic disruption on I-94.
About 6-p.m., Monday, both eastbound lanes were closed, about two miles west of Steele, with law enforcement rerouting the traffic along the shoulder of the roadway.
Following repairs the highway was reopened about 10-p.m.
Assisting the Highway Patrol were, the Steele Police Department and Kidder County Sheriff’s Department.
Earlier on Monday about 5:25-p.m., north of Steele southbound on Highway 3, near mile marker 112, Highway Patrol Sgt. Ryan Duletski reports a semi carrying a load of hay bales drove off the right shoulder of the roadway. The driver over-corrected, steering to the left and causing the vehicle to overturn on it’s right side.
63 year-old Driver John Hiebert of Oak Bluff, Manitoba was not injured.. Traffic was detoured for an hour while the truck was towed from the ditch.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a fatal collision between a tanker truck and a van carrying 10 people happened when the van attempted to turn around on the highway.
Three passengers in the van were killed in the crash early Tuesday evening east of Grand Forks. The patrol identified the victims as 39-year-old Jason Boppre, 66-year-old William Joyner and 41-year-old Gary Voeller, all of Grand Forks. The patrol says the van was carrying people to work, but was not specific.
Both vehicles were heading west on the four-lane road. The van was in the right-hand lane and the semi was passing in the left-lane lane when the van turned into the semi.
The patrol says the other seven people in van were injured. The semi driver was not hurt.
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — An attorney for a group fighting the Keystone XL pipeline says the organization plans to appeal a South Dakota judge’s decision upholding state regulators’ approval for the pipeline to cross the state.
Dakota Rural Action attorney Robin Martinez said Wednesday that the conservation and family agriculture group plans to raise the issue to the South Dakota Supreme Court. Others could also appeal.
Judge John Brown last month affirmed a Public Utilities Commission decision that was challenged by Native American tribes, landowners and others. Martinez says the high court will have an opportunity to look at issues that affect the pipeline and how the commission operates.
The project would move crude oil from Canada across Montana and South Dakota to Nebraska, where it would connect with existing pipelines feeding refineries along the Gulf Coast.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A global electronic mapping company is shutting down its operations in Fargo.
Officials with HERE Technologies saay that about 200 positions in the Fargo facility are being transferred to offices in Chicago, Georgia, India and the Netherlands.
Company spokesman Jordan Stark says the Fargo jobs will be phased out in the next eight months. He says Fargo employees will receive priority for “suitable open positions” elsewhere in the company.
The Fargo facility first opened more than 20 years ago when the company was owned by Navteq.

The White House confirmed Tuesday that President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a second, previously undisclosed conversation at the summit in Hamburg on July 7, this one at an evening dinner. Merkel’s spokesman said the dinner produced “a lively exchange.”
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump says senators shouldn’t leave town for August recess unless they act on legislation to repeal and replace the Obama-era health care law. Trump also says any Republican senator who opposes starting debate on the legislation is saying they are “fine with Obamacare.”
PARIS (AP) — A French woman captured in Mosul with her four children is facing possible prosecution in Iraq for collaborating with the Islamic State group, in a test case for how governments handle families of foreign fighters now that the extremists are in retreat. The fate of the four children, ranging from 6 months to 8 years old, is in legal limbo. The woman’s lawyer says the family should be brought to France, even though she would probably be jailed and could face terrorism charges.
LOVELOCK, Nev. (AP) — Decades after dazzling sports fans and movie audiences, an aging O.J. Simpson will ask for parole after spending more than eight years in a remote Nevada prison for armed robbery and assault with a weapon. He was convicted after trying to take back sports memorabilia in a Las Vegas hotel room. Now 70, Simpson will ask parole commissioners to let him walk free in October, a likely possibility with his clean record behind bars.
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Shareholders of British American Tobacco and Reynolds American Inc. support merging into the world’s largest publicly traded tobacco company.
Shareholders of both companies on Wednesday approved London-headquartered BAT buying the nearly 60 percent of Reynolds it doesn’t already own. The purchase is expected to become effective next week.
British American Tobacco sells Dunhill, Rothmans and Lucky Strike cigarettes. Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based Reynolds owns the Camel, Newport and Pall Mall brands.
BAT projects saving at least $400 million a year through cost-cutting of corporate operations, increased purchasing power, and other efficiencies.
Each Reynolds share will convert to $29.44 in cash and about half a share in BAT. The British company says the price is nearly 40 percent above the value of Reynolds’ shares before its earlier, unsuccessful purchase offer in October.
