Washington (CSi) North Dakota’s congressional delegation announces that  the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is sending additional staff from Farm Service Agency (FSA) to ensure timely service for producers seeking information during the ongoing drought.

Congressman Kevin Cramer  says, “It’s great to see USDA pro-actively getting additional personnel out to Western North Dakota in order to make sure they’re not caught flat-footed,” said Cramer. “The last thing we need is a large backlog when producers are moving as quickly as possible to begin haying additional CRP lands.”

Starting next week, FSA offices in McHenry, Mountrail, Bowman, Golden Valley, Hettinger, and Stark will have additional staff present to help assist local FSA employees.
