Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The Jamestown Arts Center hosts the Annual Gala on Saturday February 23, 2013.

On Thursday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Director, Taylor Barnes asks those planning to attend to please call the Arts Center at 251-2496 to make reservations, with the gala to be held at the Quality Inn and Suites, in Jamestown.

The social is at 6-p.m., dinner at 7-p.m., followed by a live auction.

A silent auction will also be held.

She pointed out that the proceeds go to support the general operations of the Arts Center.

The cost is $75 per ticket.

Ms. Barnes also said the Arts Center will host the Jamestown High School production of “The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee,” on February 28, and March 1, 2013, at 7:30 each evening.

She added that the Arts Center is resuming Saturday hours, beginning March 2, 2013 from 10-a.m., to 2-p.m.

On March 7, 2013 the Arts Center will host auditions for the next production of the 2nd Act Community Theater, “Almost Maine,” from 7-10-p.m.

Plans are being made for some redesigning of t he Arts Park on First Avenue South in Jamestown.

The process includes spring planting designs, space for performances, along with pathways, and a seating area.
