Jamestown  (CSi)    The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a mishap between a semi and cargo truck about 9-a.m., Friday, on I-94 near mile marker 258 .

The reports says,  a Peterbilt driven by 62 Daryl Scobee of Jamestown was merging with traffic on the eastbound lane of I-94  when a set of dual tires separated from the trailer axle. The semi stopped on the eastbound shoulder shortly after.

The vehicle continued across the median and struck the front of a 2006 cargo van driven by 50 year old Bakytbek Sheraliev, of Philadelphia, PA. The van slowed and stopped on the westbound exit.

No injuries reported, both drivers wore seatbelts

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol
