A spokeswoman for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway says the derailment happened Wednesday morning about 9-a.m. near Gavilon Grain west of Jamestown.
Two locomotives, three tankers and one hopper car were involved in the slow speed derailment
The derailment happened on industry track, so the railroad’s main line was kept open and traffic was not affected. The derailed locomotives and cars all stayed upright.
No one was hurt.
The cause remains under investigation.
