Jamestown (CSi)   On Friday and Saturday December 1 & 2, 2017 donations to any of the Jamestown Salvation Army’s Red Kettles will be matched, thanks to a generous donor.

Major Tim Nauta says the match is up to $4,000, adding that this year’s campaign with the goal of $140,000 is ahead of last year’s pace at this time.

Bell ringer volunteers are still welcome to indicate their participation.

Individuals, businesses, and service clubs wishing to volunteer, may sign up for a two-hour bell ringing shift Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Cash Wise Foods in Park Plaza, the Buffalo Mall and Walmart.

The Red Kettle Campaign runs through Christmas Eve.
