Jamestown  (CSi)  The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a SUV struck three cows Sunday about 7:20-p.m., on Highway 281 South, about 30 miles south of Jamestown.

A Toyota 4 Runner driven by 33 year old Ronald White III was traveling southbound on Highway 281 and struck three cows in the southbound lane around mile marker 37.

The Toyota came to rest facing south in the northbound lane. Two cows were injured and one was killed. The injured cows were dispatched by the owner.

White was transported by ambulance to Jamestown Regional Medical center for non life threatening injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
