Fargo  (WDAY)  38 year old Brooke Lynne Crews in court Monday in Fargo pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping and providing false information, in connection with the death of Savanna Greywind.

She’s scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

WDAY reports, the mother of Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind, Norberta LaFontaine-Greywind  smiled and hugged family and supporters at Cass County Courthouse after Crews, one of two suspects in the killing of her  22-year-old daughter changed her pleas to guilty.

Norberta LaFontaine-Greywind, declined to comment after the hearing, reportedly looking happy and relieved.

The station reports that, Cass County State’s Attorney Birch Burdick, whose office is prosecuting the case, declined to provide additional details about Crews’ case since Hoehn’s case must still be tried.

Hoehn Crews

Crews and her live-in boyfriend, 32 year old, William Henry Hoehn, were arrested in August in Fargo. Police found Crews with a newborn child when she was arrested. The baby later proved to be the biological child of LaFontaine-Greywind and her boyfriend, Ashton Matheny.

Hoehn, faces the same charges and has pleaded not guilty. His trial is scheduled to begin March 20, 2018 in Cass County District Court.
