Margaret E. Limesand, 96, of Jamestown, ND, died Friday, December 15, 2017 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Margaret was born April 27, 1921, the daughter of Joseph and Ollie (Somsen) Leimer. She graduated from Buchanan High School. Margaret’s first job was teaching at a rural school in Hidden Township, Stutsman County for four years. On February 6, 1943 Margaret was united in marriage to Melvin Wolff. He died on November 1, 1944. She married Marvin Limesand on September 28, 1945. Margaret was employed by the Jamestown Sun as a circulation clerk for 32 years.

Margaret was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Jamestown.

She is survived by daughter, Carol (Darwin) Strobel, Jamestown; three grandchildren, Mark (Vanessa) Strobel, Sara (Darin) Ellingson, and Mike (Julie) Strobel; five great-grandchildren, Jaden Strobel, Max Strobel, Meghan, Jack, and Emma Ellingson.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; sister, Virginia; brothers, Herbert and John; and special friend of 33 years, Jasper Brown.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Martin Nussbaum officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Interment: Buchanan Cemetery, Buchanan, ND.
