Lorraine Wahl, 84, Jamestown, ND passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at Ave Maria Village.

Lorraine Boschee was born on December 17, 1933 on a country farm home northwest of Wishek, ND to John and Magdalena (Gabel) Boschee, she was the youngest of 11 children. Lorraine attended a country school and later received her G.E.D.

 She moved to Jamestown and worked at the Anne Carlsen School. On June 25, 1953 she married Wilber Wahl at the Reformed Church, Wishek, ND. Lorraine worked as a CNA at the North Dakota State Hospital for twenty-three years. Wilber and Lorraine owned and operated the Korner Inn Bar in Wimbledon, ND.

Lorraine loved her grandchildren and spent time with them whenever possible. She enjoyed bowling and bowled for several years. She also enjoyed playing pinochle with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Dan Wahl, Fargo, ND; daughter Donna (Gary) Neys, Buchanan, ND; six grandsons, nineteen great grandchildren; two sisters Alleen Buetow, Jamestown, ND, Alma Decker, Billings, MT; one brother Gideon Boschee, Wishek, ND; sisters-in-law Alice (Richard) Wanzek, Lila (Harold) Hennings, and Harriet (Vern) Wahl, all of Jamestown, ND; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, several brothers and sisters and one granddaughter.

Lorraine will be missed greatly by her family and grandkids. May she rest in peace.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Deacon Ken Votava, officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Highland Home Cemetery.
