Jamestown  (NDHP)   The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a car fire eastbound on I-94 Friday about 3-p.m.

The 1999 Dodge operated by a Wimbledon, man caught fire while as it was exiting at Exit 290 west of Valley City.

The driver was not injured.

Fire Chief Gary Retterath reports the cause of the fire was likely  a gas leak, that totaled the car.
