Jamestown (CSi)  The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office reports two individuals were arrested when their vehicle was pulled over for a traffic stop on I-94 eastbound  at  mile markers 266 on Sunday January 21st.

The news release from Sheriff Chad Kaiser says upon further investigation it was discovered the vehicle, a Toyota pickup,  contained 476 pounds.625 ounces of what appears to be raw marijuana..

The two suspects taken into custody are: The driver, 36 year old  Nhia Lee, from St. Paul, Minnesota, and 37 year old, Bee Thor  the passenger from Oshkosh,  Wisconsin.

The pair are in custody at the Stutsman County Correctional Jail, with bail set at $200,000, each. each.

They appeared in court Monday and asked for public defenders.

Kaiser said this is the only information being released at this time.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Jamestown Police Department and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
