Update…

Jamestown  (CSi)  Water service was restored to a portion of Southwest Jamestown about 1-p.m., Friday after city crews repaired a water mail break.

Water Department Superintendent Steve Suko says, a repair sleeve was installed,  the water service restored, and the excavation filled around 1-p.m.

Water service was temporarily shut off to the affected area starting about 8:30- a.m., Friday.

Jamestown  (CSi)  Jamestown Public Works reports that Streets along 2nd St SW between 4th & 6th Ave SW will be temporarily closed to through traffic; 5th Ave SW between 1st St SW & 3rd St SW will also be temporarily closed due to utility repairs in progress stemming from a water main break.

There is a possibility of temporary Water outages in this area – water service will be resumed as soon as is possible.
