UPDATE

(KVLY)  On their way to the N-A-I-A division two women’s national tournament, in Sioux City, Iowa,  the team’s bus left an icy  I-29 near Watertown, South Dakota on Monday.

The driver attempted avoid hitting a sign, and moments later the bus went off the road.

The bus crashed through a fence before stopping above a slushy creek.

21 people were on the bus, including players and coaches, and staff.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says there were no injuries.

Though players were shaken, they said the best way to put what happened behind them is by winning the NAIA national championship.

Watertown Search and Rescue picked them up taking them another bus.
