Jamestown  (CSi)  The Jamestown Public School Board, Monday evening unanimously approved the hiring of the new Louis L’Amour Principal.

Jon Koehmstedt is presently principal of  K-12 Midway Public School in Midway, North Dakota. He previously taught junior high social studies for ten years in his native Grafton.

He was selected by a search committee from a pool of 15 candidates.

Current Louis L’Amour Principal Vikki Coombs,will retire in June this year.
