Thomas G. Divers, 64, of Jamestown, North Dakota died on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at home with his wife and daughter.

Tom was born on June 18, 1953 in Jamestown, the son of Glen and Elvera (Wendt) Divers. He graduated from the Jamestown High School in 1971.

Tom was a member of the Freedom Riders MC of Bismarck, ND for many years which was a hugely important time of his life. He moved to Glendive, MT for work in 1981 where he met and married his future family. On June 12, 1982, Tom married Teresa “Terrie” D. Divers and got his daughter, Jessica “Jes” Divers, at the same time. Tom and his family lived in several places including Glendive, MT, Jamestown, ND, Ft. Hood, TX, Ft. Lewis, WA, and back to Jamestown in 1998, where he worked for Alpha Opportunities Inc. He started as the maintenance person for many6 years then changed to a position in the ISLA program working with people in their homes.

He truly loved his job and the people he worked with and for. Tom was also an active member of the Dakota Angler’s and working on/helping with all the activities was very important to him. He loved the comradery of a sport shared.

He was an avid hunter and fisher and also loved to ride motorcycles and boat with his family.

Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Terrie of Jamestown, daughter, Jes of Jamestown, granddaughter, Shayne Mickelson of Jamestown, brother, Dennis of Jamestown, and his mother, Elvera of Jamestown.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glen.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 23, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home, with Pastor Robert Boyar officiating.

Inurnment: Glendive Cemetery, Glendive Montana at a later date.
