Jamestown  (Chamber)  Jamestown Chamber Executive, Becky Thatcher-Keller says, the Chamber has attended events and made awards to local businesses.

Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and the Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the Customer Service Award for April to Penny Orr of Orriginals, Inc. for her outstanding customer service.  The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.

The April Business After Hours was hosted by Newman Print, a division of Newman Signs, located at 1614 8th Avenue SW in Jamestown.  Those who attended enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and food provided by the business.  Owner, Kari Ness, was on hand to provide information about the new division, along with her staff and they spoke about the services provided and showed the attendees how the equipment works.  This division provides a wide variety of printing options from custom interior and exterior signs, banners, art canvases, vehicle graphics, magnets, and so much more.  Stop by to wish them well or contact them at 701-252-1970 for information about their printing or sign services.

The Chamber Ambassadors and Young Professionals of Jamestown, along with other chamber member businesses attended this event.

 

Members of the Young Professionals of Jamestown and the Jamestown Chamber Ambassadors recently presented a Business of the Month Award to Eckman’s Auto Service of Jamestown for their outstanding customer service and continued commitment to the community.

This business has been in business for 50 years and family-owned the entire time, with now four generations involved in the business. Located at 420 10th Street SE in Jamestown, they can be reached at 701-252-6341.  Steve Eckman and his family and employees joined the Chamber Young Professionals and the Chamber Ambassadors for the presentation.

The nomination stated, “I am a person that uses a wheelchair and Steve and all his employees at Eckman’s have always treated me with the utmost respect and care.  If I need snow removed off my pickup or air in my tires, or just a coke as I pay for my gas, they are more than happy to help me out in any way they can.”
