Jamestown  (CSi)  No injuries reported when a bird struck a United Express/SkyWest aircraft late Wednesday evening.

The Jamestown Regional Airport’s Air Rescue and Fire crew were notified of the incident about 11:23 p.m.

Airport employee Ben Maulding, says the aircraft had just departed Jamestown for Devils Lake when the incident occurred.

The aircraft returned safely to Jamestown Regional Airport.

No injuries were reported.

No immediate word on damage to the plane.

Maulding says the airport’s Air Rescue and Fire crew was called on stand-by as the normal procedure.
