Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called out Sunday afternoon just after 1-p.m. to a grass fire at 3023 80th Avenue, Southeast, where a burn pile reignited.
Rural Fire Chief, Ben Maulding says the fire was contained to about a half-acre of land.
The Rural Fire Department was on the scene about 90-minutes.
The owner was not cited for violating the ordinance because the fire was set prior to Sunday.
The North Dakota Fire Danger map showed Stutsman County in a very high danger level on Sunday, and the Stutsman County burn ban was in effect.
