Delores Scholz Rosemore, 94, Jamestown, ND passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Eventide Jamestown special care unit.  She was surrounded by the love of all of her family.

Delores Scholz was born July 17, 1923 in Jamestown, ND to Richard and Tena (Mammenga) Scholz.  She attended rural school in Windsor, ND.  Delores married Gordon G. Rosemore on November 8, 1941 in Moorhead, MN.  They farmed in the Windsor/Eldridge area until 1990 when they moved to Jamestown.

Delores was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.  She was a hard worker and spent hours helping on the farm and keeping her yard clean from leaves, making sure she had a meal or baked goods waiting for anyone that stopped by for a visit.  She loved taking trips to the casino with friends, playing bingo at the Eagle’s Club and collecting coins.  Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds.  Above all else was her unending love for her family.  She radiated pure joy whenever a grandchild or great-grandchild was near.

Delores will be forever missed by everyone that was blessed to be a part of her life.

She is survived by her son Ronald Rosemore, Eldridge, ND; one daughter-in-law, Judy Rosemore, Eldridge, ND; seven grandchildren, Bob (Renee) Rosemore, Wahpeton, ND, Candy (Terry) Walter, Frazee, MN, Terri (Dmitrii) Bostan, Jamestown, ND, Stacy (Tony) Lunzman, Eldridge, ND, Lacy (Matt) Kropp, Jamestown, ND, Lance (Becky) Pollert, Bismarck, ND, Wyatt (Kelly) Pollert, Bismarck, ND; 20 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon, son Gene, two brothers, Ernest and Ervin, five sisters Edith, Irene, Levon, Lois and Marlene.

The family of Delores would like to extend our sincere thanks to Eventide Special Care Unit and all the staff for the last three years of care; JRMC Hospice for guiding our family along the way.

Prayer service will be 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 23 at Eddy Funeral Home.  Memorial service will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 24 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Erik Weber, officiating. Inurnment will be in Eldridge Cemetery.
