Jeffrey Dale Falck, 60, Buchanan, North Dakota, died Sunday, May 20 at his home.

Jeffrey Dale Falck was born January 13, 1958 in Jamestown, N.D., at Trinity Hospital to Thomas and Elaine (Campbell) Falck. He grew up on the farm he would later own and operate just east of Buchanan. He attended Buchanan public school where he graduated in 1976. He married Gail Perleberg on July 27, 1979 in Jamestown, N.D. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary next year. Jeff and Gail had two children together, Jill and Josh. Jeffrey took over Falck Farms at age 18, which he operated with his brother Donald until their retirement in April, 2018. They grew various crops throughout the years which included sunflowers, wheat, corn, beans and also raised cattle. Donnie was his business partner but more importantly, his best friend.

Jeff loved farming, but he loved his family more. His wife and kids were his pride and joy. His granddaughter, Emmie, was the light of his life. He would have given the shirt off of his back for anybody. He will be remembered for his big grin, heart of gold, wise cracks and nicknames he gave to just about anybody who knew him. Jeffrey was involved with many various community boards and organizations.

He is survived by his wife, Gail, Buchanan, N.D.; daughter and son-in-law, Jill (Seth) Lura, Carrington, N.D.; son, Josh Falck, Van Nuts, C.A; one granddaughter, Emmie Jo Lura, Carrington; parents, Thomas and Elaine Falck, Jamestown; father-in-law, Walter Perleberg, Jamestown; 4 brothers, Thomas (Susan) Falck, Grand Forks, N.D.; Leland Falck, Wahpeton, N.D.; Steven Falck, Russell’s-Point, O.H.; Donald Falck, Buchanan; one sister, Carol (Harvey) Andres, Edmond, O.K., and many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Thomas and Ann Falck, maternal grandparents Everett and Rose Campbell and mother-in-law, Edna Perleberg.

The prayer service will be at 7 pm, Thursday, May 24, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jamestown, N.D. The memorial service will be 2 pm, Friday, May 25, at the church. Inurnment will be in Buchanan Cemetery.
