Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Mar 13, 2013) — The Jamestown Police Department wants to warn Jamestown residents of a convicted sex offender who is working in the City of Jamestown.
53 year old Eric David Lacey is a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall weighing 280 pounds with green eyes and brown hair.
He is currently residing at the Stutsman County jail, and has no vehicle.
Lacey has been assinged a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee, Office of the Attorney General.
He was convicted on April 9, 2009 in federal court, in California, on a North Dakota federal warrant, for possession of child pornography.
Disposition: 60 months supervised probation
On November 18, 2008 Lacey was convicted in Federal Court in North Dakota of possession of material-sex exploitation of minors, after a search of his Bismarck residence.
FBI agents found DVD movies depicting child pornography.
Disposition: 60 months supervised probation.
Lacey is not wanted by police at this time and is currently serving the sentence imposed by the court.
This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender.
Attempts to harass, intimidate, or threaten these offenders or their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
